In this talk, Prashanth revisits the wilderness areas of Bangalore and its surroundings by browsing footage in Kannada film songs dating back to the 60s & 70s. He will draw from experiences of gazing at hill lines, landmarks, and bird surveys over the last 15 years. His fondness for maps and familiarity with Geographic Information Systems will be used to present old wilderness areas of Bangalore in the talk.
